Branson`s Hot Plate Welding Systems are compact in design and offer many advantages to the user. High quality joining of plastic parts is quickly achieved over a wide range of applications, with any variation in moulding tolerances being equalized during the weld process.
Branson`s Hot Plate Welding Systems are compact in design and offer many advantages to the user. High quality joining of plastic parts is quickly achieved over a wide range of applications, with any variation in moulding tolerances being equalized during the weld process.
Modular construction allows a fullness of different combinations to suit the requirements.
The systems are easily integrated into automated production environments.
Advantages of the Hot Plate Welding Technology
-
Minimum of waste due to weld repeatability
-
Precise process control ensures high quality joints, even with parts having thin or varying wall thickness
-
Part size and geometry have few restrictions
-
Precise parameter control enable even the most sensitive of parts to be joined
-
Most thermoplastics can be welded and in some cases even different materials with similar
-
melt temperature may be successfully joined
Characteristics of standard system
- Modular machine frame ensures the integration of different front modules as options – wider, deeper or index table module – also in case of future refitting
- Short cycle times due to simultaneous movement of upper and lower tool; quick tooling exchange system in connection with tool preheating station
- High precision through exact guidance of upper and lower tool as well as heating element
- Long service life due to hydraulic damping for all movements
- Safety for operation through an automatic front loading door and safety catcher securing the upper tool
- Operating panel flanged on the machine frame for free swinging
- Temperature control with digital variance display
-
Operating Panel: Standard Siemens PLC
